David Miner, a member of the board of directors of Bread for the World and a former board chairman for the Washington, D.C.-based organization, will speak to the local Bread for the World chapter. He will give an update on problems facing food-challenged people in the U.S. as Congress considers the budget for the coming year. All are welcome.

Safe Zone 101 will introduce terminology, ribbons, and other symbols related to sexual orientation and gender identity. Safe Zone 101 will also address bullying, homophobia, and heterosexism. This will also open the floor to dispelling myths and misunderstanding about the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender identities and communities.

Sex in the Dark, LGBTQ will focus solely on issues surrounding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning topics.

Come out to de-stress with pumpkin carving! Pumpkins and carving tools will be provided.
