Non-Profit organizations often are thought of as places you can only volunteer. However, as we will discuss in this workshop, there are a variety of roles needed to make any non-profit company succeed. Join us as we share the benefits of working in the non-profit sector and the opportunities that go with it. This is an employer-led workshop. This workshop will take place at noon only.

Indiana State University's Career Center hosts a Career Fair for students and alumni. The fair provides an opportunity for participants to interact with representatives from various organizations who are recruiting for full-time positions, internship and job shadow opportunities, and part-time and summer jobs, as well as graduate and professional programs.

This session will highlight the Internship Scholarship Programs offered by the Career Center, including Focus Indiana, Rex Breeden and Out of State scholarships. Students will gain an understanding of the origin and purpose of each scholarship in addition to the requirements to apply. An overview of career services and tips that will aid students in the application process will also be addressed.

Very few people enjoy interviewing, but preparation and practice can help students stand out from the crowd and set themselves apart from the competition. This workshop covers how to prepare for an interview, different interview formats, proper dress, strategies to thoroughly answer questions and what to do after completing an interview. This is an employer-led workshop.

A professional picture is a great item to have for your LinkedIn profile, as well as for other social media profiles, personal websites, and additional professional development needs. Once the pictures are taken, students will receive a link to view and download their photos and use as desired. Professional dress required!
