Workshop Wednesday: Operation Career Fair

Career Fairs are a great way for students to meet a large number of employers in a short amount of time, but it¹s important to be prepared. The Career Fair workshop takes students step by step through clarifying goals, researching organizations, preparing an elevator pitch, what to wear, what to bring to the fair, how to work the floor, and how to follow up with employers. This workshop will take place at noon and 5 p.m.

In order to have a truly excellent résumé, it must go through the editing and revision stages! This workshop discusses how to customize your résumé for specific jobs and internships to help your documents stand out in the stack of applications, as well as how to expand résumé content to show the impact made in previous positions. It is recommended that students bring a copy of their current résumé (either hard copy or laptop) to get the most out of this hands-on workshop. This workshop will take place at noon and 5 p.m.
