Performing Arts Series: Annie

Leapin' lizards! The world's best-loved musical returns in time-honored form. Directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin and choreographed by Liza Gennaro, this production of Annie will be a brand new incarnation of the iconic original. Featuring book and score by Tony Award-winners Thomas Meehan, Charles STrouse and Martin Charnin, Annie includes such unforgettable songs as 'It's the Hard Knock Life', 'Easy Street', 'I Don't Need Anything But You', plus the eternal anthem of optimism, 'Tomorrow'.

Winner of the 1988 Pulitzer Prize and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Play, Driving Miss Daisy is a warm-hearted, humorous and affecting study of the unlikely relationship between an aging, crotchety white Southern lady, and a proud, soft-spoken black man. With race relations in the news almost daily these days, this masterpiece of a play becomes ever more poignant. Boasting a great cast featuring Clarence Gilyard from 'Walker Texas Ranger' and Charlene Tilton from 'Dallas', this show will be a must see!
