This event is for the social woman or man who is interested in making a difference in a global community for a cure for cancer. While an enjoyment of decorating a variation of creative expressions of hope, love happiness, peace and beyond. Please bring your own bra. There will also be refreshments provided.
Besides filling up on chili, attendees can enjoy hot dogs, baked potatoes and vegetarian options. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 6 and under and $5 for students with valid IDs. Baked goods, including a variety of desserts, will be available for sale. Bidding for the silent auction will take place during the Chili Fest, with winners to be announced shortly afterward. Bidders need not be present at the end of the auction to win. Up for auction will be a variety of gift baskets, gift certificates, goods and services.

Each March, we celebrate Disability Awareness Month throughout Indiana. On this, the 30th year for this important event, we chose the theme ‘People, Not Punchline’ to acknowledge an ugly truth: Persons with disabilities are sometimes turned into objects of ridicule. But rather than being the butt of a joke, each individual in our campaign uses humor to open a conversation and highlight ways in which we can all understand each other better.
Haneefah Khaaliq is running for U.S. Senate in Indiana in 2022. This is your chance to get to know her as a person, make your voice heard about the presidential election, ask questions, and review her stance on the issues impacting our country and our world. You won't want to miss this! This event is free and open to the public. This is not a fundraising event. This is a non-partisan informational session designed for you to get to know the candidate.
Learning American Sign Language (ASL) takes time, patience, practice, and a sense of humor. During this workshop, you will learn basics of ASL. This workshop will include cultural and informational details for enhanced understanding of the deaf community. In addition, the workshop will consist of interactive exercises with the audience that will include some common words and phrases to help in communicating with a deaf person.
