Conversation Corner: LGBTQ politics, Queer Theory and International Relations
Students will learn about how politics and the Queer community intersect in various and how it ties into Queer identities and theories that are used to explain them.

Students will learn about what it means to be a Trans man or woman, and how their experiences have shaped them. This event will also educate the public on how to be an Ally to the Trans community.
Participants will have the opportunity to view a film that depicts the witch hunt and the mass firings of homosexual people in the 1950s from the United States government.
Indiana State and the Terre Haute community will be able to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia and to draw attention to the continued violence endured by the transgender community.
The Career Center is hosting their annual Welcome Back Picnic and invite students to join us for lunch outside of the Career Center (near the fountain).
