Description

This 90-minute session will provide an overview of domestic violence including statistics, dynamics, types of violence and why survivors may stay in a violent relationship. We will also discuss the increased risk of victimization among those who are disabled and/or differently abled and how to identify potentially dangerous relationships.

Those who attend this session should expect to leave with an increased understanding of domestic violence in general as well as specific ways to identify violence in a relationship.

TRIGGER WARNING: This session includes discussion and real-life examples of violence, abuse and other traumatic behaviors.
