"Emergency Mine Rescue" screening of the NOVA documentary

There will be a screening of the NOVA documentary "Emergency Mine Rescue: An Engineering Triumph in Chile" which  depicts the work of a global team of engineers who rescued the 33 trapped Chilean miners in 2010. 

This event is sponsored by University College, the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies, the American Democracy Project and the Cunningham Memorial Library.

This event is in conjunction with the Fall Read "Deep Down Dark" by Hector Tobar, who is scheduled to appear at ISU in October.
