StarWound: Interiors

The College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana State University have collaborated with StarWound, an alternative sophisti-pop music trio based in Athens, Greece, for a free concert featuring songs that fuse poetry with music. The concert, which is part of the band’s American Mid-West tour takes place on October 19 at 6pm in the Boyce Recital Hall, Landini Center for Performing and Fine Arts.

The evening event, called Interiors will see the band perform songs created in collaboration with prominent contemporary American poets as well as recitals of poems by Indiana State University Creative Writing students with musical accompaniment.

Songs will be adapted from works by acclaimed poets Carmella Braniger, Brenda Cárdenas, Chris Forhan, Jennifer Moore, Nynke Salverda Passi and Amy Ash, Associate Professor of English and Director of Creative Writing at Indiana State University.
