Description
David Estrin, grandson of four Holocaust survivors and founder and CEO of the nonprofit Together We Remember, is the keynote speaker at Tuesday's Terre Haute Human Rights Day. Estrin, whose speech begins at 9:15 a.m. at Dede I in HMSU, strives to transform memory into action to end anti-Semitism and bigotry worldwide. Several other speakers are part of the event, which takes place on ISU's campus but is organized by St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and numerous people in the Terre Haute community. The program goes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All events are at HMSU. High school students from Terre Haute South, Terre Haute North, West Vigo and Sullivan will be present.
