Welcome to Plane Tree, Indiana State University’s online literary journal. Formerly known as Grasslands Review, Plane Tree is a reimagining of the print journal in an online space. We are excited to move to a fully digital platform with the opportunities to publish innovative work that may not be possible in print.

This first issue is focused on fiction and takes readers through stories about miracle cures and family dynamics, constraint and abrupt endings, blends mathematics and physics with the supernatural.
