City Manager of University City Gregory Rose has appointed Clifford Cross to the position of Planning and Development Director. Cross will begin work on Monday, Feb. 4, 2019.

Although this will be his first time working in Missouri, Cross comes with experience in city planning and development. He has served as the city planner/director for Kankakee, Illinois, the director of planning for Duluth, Georgia, and most recently the planning director for South Padre, Texas.

Cross earned his bachelor of science-geography in 2000 at Eastern Illinois University. He went on to receive a master of arts in geography/urban and regional planning from Indiana State University and an additional master of arts in public policy and administration from Northwestern University.
