Sarah graduated from ISU in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Recreation Management with a concentration in Youth Development and minors in Art History and Studio Arts. She also completed the certification in nonprofit management through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Student Organization. During her time at ISU, Sarah immersed herself in the art community in Terre Haute by interning with Arts Spaces - Wabash Valley Outdoor Sculpture Organization and the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra. Through these experiences, she was able to take classroom knowledge and apply it to practical applications in the art nonprofit sector. After completing her undergraduate degree, she continued her educational career at Indiana University in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) and received a Masters of Arts in Arts Administration and Masters of Public Affairs with a concentration in nonprofit management. Currently, Sarah is the Director of Data and Research at Indiana Youth Institute where she coordinates all internal and external evaluation protocols to communicate the impact the organization is making on youth in Indiana. She has a variety of experiences of conducting research as well as many years of experiences in organizing, promoting and initiating projects for a variety of direct service nonprofit organizations.
