Clyde D. Harris, II founded DSS-Consulting, Inc. in April 1999 and has been listed in the Indiana Business Journal “IBJ” (Indiana’s Largest minority owned company since 2001 and Indiana’s Top 25 IT consulting company since 2001). Clyde has been awarded the “Small Business Person of the Year” by the SBA in Washington DC.

Mr. Harris’s vision for starting his own business became a reality after having taken three organizations focused on the staffing industry from start-ups to multi-million dollar generating companies.  His earlier companies were Novapro/Novacare, Intelistaf, and Nisys Inc.

For the majority of Mr. Harris’ career, his primary focus has been sales and management.  His career begun in 1988 as a sales executive with Equal Opportunity Publications (EOP), a national recruitment publishing company, then two years with Computer Channel Inc. (CCI), and five as a National Recruiter for Century Personnel, Inc.

A native of Huntington, New York, Mr. Harris received his Bachelors of Science in Telecommunications from Indiana State University in 1985 and then attended the Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business in 2007. 

Mr. Harris has been married to his wife, Tracy, since 1989.  Together, they reside in Indianapolis with their son, Zachary and daughters Madison and Alyssa.
