James Shinault discovered his passion for the music industry at a young age when he attempted to help at his grandmother’s campground during Grateful Dead Concerts at the nearby Deer Creek Music Center in Noblesville, Indiana. Though he had no clue what all was going on around him, he fell in love with creating a fun atmosphere for all of the fans staying there. After graduating with a B.S. in Music Business Administration from Indiana State he went on to start his career at the SXSW Conferences & Festivals in Austin, TX. Now with AC Entertainment, he is tasked daily with creating fun, exciting, and unique experiences on a massive scale. Whether it’s managing the over 3,000 volunteers at Bonnaroo, or coordinating a distinct merchandise offering at High Water, or taking a random Youtube search and creating a ridiculous fan activation at Forecastle, it’s James’ job to make it happen. He’s also a pretty big fan of dogs…so there’s that.
