My name is Rachel Worthington, and I am thrilled to be starting the Pre-Vet Club at ISU! As president I will oversee the officers, club activities, prospective students, and more in this position.  I am currently a senior Pre-vet and Biology major. I already have a B.A degree in Psychology, but I am coming back to get my pre-vet prerequisites and finish my B.S in Biology. I will be ready to apply for Veterinary school in August, so I have done almost everything I need to get into vet school and I would love to share my knowledge and experiences with you! I have worked as an animal care technician and pet counselor at Petland, I am currently doing an internship at Heritage animal hospital, and I have done so much more to prepare myself for Veterinary school. I hope to go to Purdue University after graduation to focus on large and exotic animal practice, however, I would really like to be able to do it all.
