The Women's Equality Day March is a campus/community event to commemorate the 1920 passage of the 19th Amendment, giving all women voting rights on Thursday, Aug. 25 (Equal Rights Day is Nationally recognized on Aug. 26). Pre-march activities (living history, making posters) begin at 5:15 in Parking Lot G (corner Chestnut and 9th streets) with short program at 6 p.m. followed by march (accompanied by songs of the suffragists) around east, south and west side of campus, ending at Reeve Hall near Readers sculpture and short program with refreshments.
Women interested in competing in the Miss Indiana State University Scholarship Pageant on Oct. 22 and 23 are invited to attend this information session. Details about participating, scholarships available, and the entire program will be discussed. This pageant is a preliminary to Miss Indiana which will take place in June 2017.

The Division of University Engagement, the Charles E. Brown African American Cultural Center, ISU Police Department and the Office of Multicultural Services and Programs will be holding a Unity Walk on campus. ISU community will walk to promote unity on campus and in our Community.
The Downtown Terre Haute Block Party will canvas five blocks on Wabash Avenue from 4th to 9th streets. The Block Party includes activities for every age: live music, food, arts vendors, arts and crafts, a kid zone, car show, corn hole tournament and more!
