Bake Sale for St. Jude

Please join Epsilon Sigma Alpha, a co-ed service fraternity, to raise money for St. Jude by visiting their Bake Sale Oct. 6-8 from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in front of the Hulman Memorial Student Union front desk. Goodies will range from brownies and cookies, to rice krispy treats and SO MUCH MORE! All money raised will go to benefit the work at St. Jude Children's Hospital where no family ever pays for treatment.

Lights Camera Fashion meeting

Lights Camera Fashion is a fashion related organization on Indiana State University's campus. The group is actively looking for new members who are passionate about fashion, photography, modeling, graphic design and event planning. We hope to host a variety of events such as fashion panels, mixers, community volunteer opportunities and much more. So if you are interested in fashion, designing graphics, photography or event planning attend the Lights Camera Fashion meeting on Sundays at 6pm in HMSU room 316.

"Emergency Mine Rescue" screening of the NOVA documentary

There will be a screening of the NOVA documentary "Emergency Mine Rescue: An Engineering Triumph in Chile" which  depicts the work of a global team of engineers who rescued the 33 trapped Chilean miners in 2010. 

This event is sponsored by University College, the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies, the American Democracy Project and the Cunningham Memorial Library.

This event is in conjunction with the Fall Read "Deep Down Dark" by Hector Tobar, who is scheduled to appear at ISU in October.

Hundreds of Miles of Mountains and Hundreds of Years of Mines

Sam Martland, historian of Chile and professor from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, will present "Hundreds of Miles of Mountains and Hundreds of Years of Mines: Chile's Great North and its Neighbors."

Sponsored by University College, Department of Multidisciplinary Studies, American Democracy Project and Cunningham Memorial Library.
