Artists Reception
Come visit the banks of the Wabash or witness the pain of war through the University Art Gallery’s newest exhibit. The Department of Art and Design Faculty Exhibition is on display from September 27t to October 25. It offers a great opportunity to see the most recent work of the Art and Design Faculty.
The exhibit has a diverse range of artwork from photography, drawings, ceramics, video, prints, large lenticular print, and graphic design. On October 3, 4-6 p.m. there will be a reception to meet the faculty and discuss their work.
Hitler's Children: Movie Screening and Conversation with Rainer Hoess
Hitler had no children, but what about Goering, Hoess, and Frank? Hitler’s Children is a unique documentary that reveals for the first time, how descendants of Nazi officers from Hitler’s inner circle deal with the burden of carrying a surname equated with terror and genocide.
Take Back The Night
Take Back The Night is a student led event put on by WS 450. The event intends to increase awareness of and call for an end to gendered and sexual violence. This event includes a resource fair that begins at 6 pm, a Rally that begins at 6:30 pm, and a march that begins at 7 pm.
Tackle the Vote
The American Democracy Project is sponsoring a fun event to help get students excited about voting. The event will feature a women's flag football game, voter registration opportunities, games, and FREE food!
Check-in starts at 6:15 p.m. and kick-off is at 7:00 p.m. Come on out and join the fun! Help us TACKLE THE VOTE!!!
