Workshop Wednesday: Strategies for Interview Success

Career Fairs are a great way for students to meet a large number of employers in a short amount of time, but it's important to be prepared.  The Career Fair Preparation presentation takes students step by step through clarifying goals, researching organizations, preparing an elevator pitch, what to wear, what to bring to the fair, how to work the floor, and how to follow up with employers.

Networking and Etiquette Workshop

Learn and practice important networking and dining skills that will help you be successful in your career! Local employers talk with students about how to effectively network, focusing on four topics: using social media in your job search; interviewing tips; proper dress; and professional communication. Students are provided with personalized business cards and given the opportunity to network with one another and the employers, while exchanging their business cards.
