The GI Bill and American Art (Fertile Ground Series)

Sujata Gopalan, guest curator for Fertile Ground: Midwest Printmaking Traditions, will speak about the importance the GI Bill had in training a generation of artists, including printmakers.

This program has been made possible through a matching grant from Indiana Humanities in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities, a Community Engagement grant from Indiana State University, by Indiana State University’s Department of Art and Design, and by the Alliance of the Swope.

Downtown Terre Haute First Friday "Taste of True Grit"

March 6th ­ Downtown Terre Haute First Friday Country at the Crossroads 5-8 p.m. at Barnes & Noble Celebrate the Wabash Valley Community Read, True Grit with a pioneer chili tasting, corn dodgers, pretzel cabin building, live music, free copies of True Grit,  and prizes. This is a FREE event sponsored by Barnes & Noble ISU, The Vigo County Public Library, and Programs All Weekend ISU.
