WELCOME to the Indiana State University School of Music

On behalf of the entire faculty and staff of the ISU School of Music, I welcome you to our website. We are ready to launch anther great academic year and I couldn't be more excited. We have some fantastic faculty additions this year and they are already proving to be tremendous colleagues. Their profiles are below and you'll see much more about them in the months to come. ISU has a storied history and a legacy of helping students FIND themselves academically, artistically, professionally, and personally. These are not separate pursuits, of course; indeed, they ARE about WHAT WE DO AT STATE.....we help prepare our students for their CAREERS, their PASSIONS, and their LIVES.

We are PROUD of what happens in the School of Music. Our students distinguish themselves through taking advantage of opportunities to LEARN and DO; our website and social media will always feature some of those outstanding efforts. Our faculty practice what they teach. Many have been busy traveling and performing internationally during these past summer months. As we start each semester, every one of these talented, skilled, and seasoned professionals brings their own personal expertise to their particular areas and they all combine to make one amazing group of musicians, scholars, business people, and, for the benefit of ALL of our students, exemplars of excellence. The ISU School of Music is a gem and I am proud to serve as its Director.
