President's Concert
President’s Concert to Feature University’s Finest Musicians
Thirteen of the best and brightest musicians from Indiana State University’s School of Music presented the 2022 President’s Concert at 2:00pm, Sunday, February 27, in Boyce Recital Hall of the Landini Center for Performing and Fine Arts. This year’s concert featured a wide variety of music from classical through contemporary eras by composers such as Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Glazunov, and Richard Rodgers. Each student was selected to participate based on outstanding performances in each area of instrumental study during the fall semester. Participants included:
- Morgan Adams (voice), a junior choral music education major from Wheatfield, IN
- Josh Billik (voice), a senior music education major from Beeach Grove, IN
- Nikelle Carlson (flute), a sophomore music education from Joliet, Illinois
- Emma Donnahoe (flute), a junior music education major from Palmyra, IN
- Jacob Engel (piano), a sophomore piano performance major from Avon, IN
- Lily Kostraba (violin), a junior performance major from West Lafayette, IN
- Chase Monroe (tuba), a junior music education major from Carlisle, Indiana
- Logan Muñoz (voice), a 4th year general studies major with minors in music and dance from Portage, IN
- Tyler Smith (percussion), a junior music composition major from Elkhart, IN
- Kaitlyn Stone (voice), a junior music education major with a theater minor from Vincennes, IN
- Morgen Tillema (saxophone), a sophomore music education major from Wheatfield, IN
- Lily Voelz (voice), a sophomore music education from Columbus, IN
- Jordan Witt (trumpet), a sophomore music education major from Terre Haute, IN.
