Theater Studies Concentration
Core Requirements (27 credits):
*Students should take starred courses before taking courses within their concentration. Students must choose area(s) of concentration before the beginning of their junior year.
Theater Studies Concentration (21 credits):
Those students who are choosing not to pursue a disciplinary concentration and prefer the Theater Studies Track, must take the 27-credit core plus 21 distribution courses (see Distribution Courses below) comprised of three-credit and practicum course credits, with at least 3 credits in TWO of the three concentrations and 6 credits in a third concentration (for a total of 12 distribution credits). That leaves 9 free credits from wherever the student chooses.
Choose between three and six credits from the following (Acting Distribution Courses)
Choose between three and six credits from the following (Design and Technology Distribution Courses)
Choose between 3 and 6 credits from the following (Playwriting, Dramaturgy, and Directing Distribution Courses)
