Ed.S. School Administration (K-12 District Level)

If you are an educator seeking the Indiana superintendent license or another leadership role in education, the Ed.S. in school administration is the program for you. A practitioner's degree, the educational specialist program's objective is to help you develop skills and competencies needed to be a more effective district-level administrator, or area-, statewide, or national leader in educational, service, and/or helping professions.

Coursework includes topics in personnel, school finance and budget, facilities planning, leadership, district-level administration, and related subjects. Culminating program requirements are a two-semester internship in your local district central office, a Seminar in the Superintendency capstone course, an applied district-level project supporting student learning, and a reflective professional artifact.
