Photography - Graduate

The graduate photography program at ISU is flexible enough to accommodate a variety of visual imagery and technical approaches. Graduate students are encouraged to move outside their comfort zone and explore possibilities that they may not have considered as an undergraduate. By the end of their program they will have had the opportunity to explore a range of creative possibilities, leading to their own unique body of work. The photography area, located in Fairbanks Hall, occupies 2,500 square feet plus assigned private or semi-private studios.  A professional black and white darkroom is furnished with a full range of equipment that will accommodate various photographic formats. Large format cameras are also an available option. Digital equipment allowing for large, high quality printing, a shooting studio and facilities for antique and alternative processes are also made available to graduate students.
