Tamara has been working within the Criminal Justice Field since 2006.  She has worked as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher, Accreditation Manager and as a law enforcement officer with the Indiana State University Police Department.  Tamara graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy Basic Class 06-167 in Plainfield, Indiana.  Tamara currently serves as the Clery Compliance Lieutenant.  Tamara is an International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators Accreditation Assessor. Tamara is also a Lecturer for the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice.

Research Interests:
The use of Technology as an investigative tool, Clery Act law enforcement’s obligations, social demographics and the effects on crime data spikes, policy implications to curb instances of police misconduct, recruitment strategies to build an inclusive law enforcement agency, and report writing as an aid to successful prosecutions.
