CyberCriminology Minors (Coming Fall 2023)

CyberCriminology and Security Studies Minors

The School of Criminology and Security Studies will offer two (2) separate minors in Cybercriminology and Security Studies starting Fall 2023. These minors are designed for non-majors. The minor programs will be stackable and target individuals who may either not want to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Cybercriminology and Security Studies but have an interest in the area. This means that all courses taken are also courses needed for the major. Therefore, if a student decides to switch majors or double major, all the courses taken for the minor can be applied to the major. There are business majors that want to have a cybersecurity minor as well that complements their business degree. Finally, those who are working in the field of Cybercriminology and Security Studies could use these minors to enhance their marketability.
