Zach Cole, '05

Zach is an Assistant Vice President and Account Executive for National Accounts at Lockton Companies, the world's largest privately held insurance brokerage firm. In this position, he leads the marketing and servicing of commercial risk management accounts, including those with large casualty retentions and layered and quota-shared property insurance placement needs. He assists his clients to recognize and quantify potential exposures while developing well designed, cost effective solutions.

Lora graduated magna cum laude from ISU’s nationally recognized insurance and risk management (and management) program in 2002. She is a licensed commercial and personal lines agent for Old National Insurance in Terre Haute, and recently moved into her current role as coordinator of the small business insurance division. She frequently comes back to Indiana State to mentor and network with insurance and risk management students.

Daniel Gmelich, '01, '06

Vice president and corporate banking officer with Old National Bank, Gmelich previously served as a team leader for the commercial credit analyst group and as a commercial analyst, also with Old National. In addition to his finance degree, Gmelich earned his master's in business administration (MBA) also from ISU. He is also a member of the Scott College of Business' inaugural Young Professionals Board.

Benjamin Gradle, '06

Benjamin Gradle is a risk management examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was formerly an analyst with the Office of Thrift Supervision, a branch of the Department of the Treasury, in Seattle, Washington. There, he helped to oversee the safety and soundness of banks nationwide. In addition to finance, Gradle also majored in business administration, with a minor in insurance and risk management. He's a member of the Scott College of Business' inaugural Young Professionals Board.

While at Indiana State, Lenderman was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi and Golden Key honor societies and was an inside linebacker on the ISU football team, earning various awards including the Gillum and Hitman awards as well as the Gateway Conference Presidents Academic Excellence Award. In addition, he was a two-time member of the Verizon Sycamore All-Academic Team. Lenderman, a 2003 graduate with a degree in business management, finance and business administration, was a recipient of the Rankin Outstanding Senior Award and Hines Medal for graduating seniors with a 4.0 grade point average in addition to being named the Outstanding Management Major.

a partner in Howard Clare Insurance in Terre Haute, has been very involved with his alma mater since graduation. He serves on the Scott College of Business' Insurance Advisory Council and inaugural Young Professionals Board, volunteers his time with our student chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma and occasionally visits to speak to students in our insurance and risk management program.

Keith Richards, '00

Keith is currently director of global business systems and formerly director of quality for Crown Equipment Corp of Ohio. He travels frequently to Crown’s locations around the world and contributes to the future of the company through innovation, product development, and customer support. Keith graduated from ISU with an Operations and Supply Chain Management degree in 2000. In 2005 he was honored by Indiana State as a recipient of the GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Award.

Laura Rudolphi

Laura Rudolphi, '08

After graduating from ISU, Laura went on to earn her MBA at the University of Missouri, Columbia. She has held a variety of positions, including one with the City of Terre Haute as a risk management intern, with Orbital Sciences (also as an intern), and with Shelter Insurance Companies as a market research analyst. Most recently, she joined dunnhumby in Cincinnati, as a senior associate (analyst). dunnhumby is the leader in personalizing the customer experience for retailers and brands such as CocaCola, Macy's and more. During her time at ISU, she played basketball, achieved honors as a Rankin Distinguished Senior, Honorary Insurance Commissioner for Indiana and Dean’s Honor Scholar. 

 

Christopher Sapp, '02

While at Indiana State, Sapp was a presidential scholar, participated in Golden Key National Honor Society and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, served as a member of the University Faculty Athletic Committee, and was a recipient of the Hines Medal for graduating seniors with a 4.0 grade point average. A four-year letterman on the ISU football team, Sapp was named to the GTE All-Academic Team from 2000-2002, was a member of the first team Academic All-Conference team from 1999-2001 and was a Div. I-AA Athletic Director's Association Academic All-American.

Nicholas Schafer

Nicholas Schafer, '01

Large lines account analyst for Tobias Insurance Group, Inc. in Indianapolis, Schafer studied insurance and risk management and health and safety while at Indiana State. He has designations as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and an Associate in Insurance Service (AIS). Prior to Tobias, he served as a commercial underwriter for Ohio Casualty Group. Schafer is a member of the Scott College of Business' inaugural Young Professionals Board and serves as a mentor to Scott College of Business students.

Wasiak graduated from ISU 2001 with a bachelor's degrees in accounting and business management. He was the transaction services manager at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, LLP prior to his current position as an audit principal for Dauby O'Connor & Zaleski, LLC. He is a member of the advisory board of directors for Wheeler - Dowe Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis and former member of the inaugural Young Professionals Board of the Indiana State University Scott College of Business. He is a certified public accountants and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
