Krystal SmithA summer internship with All Risks Limited enabled Smith to spend more time learning about the industry, particularly Lloyd's of London and the surplus lines sector. She spent the summer of 2006 working with All Risks in Baltimore, Md., as well as A.M. Best, a world-wide insurance-rating and information agency, and Lloyd's of London. With these different companies, she learned about many aspects of the insurance industry.

 

Jacqueline Zuerner

Jacqueline ZuernerThe daughter of Dan and Joan Zuerner and a 2003 graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School. In 2007, Zuerner was one of only 10 students from across the country to receive a prestigious scholarship from SAP America for the innovative ideas and solutions contained in her competition essay focusing on the topic of "Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)." Besides the SAP America Scholarship, Zuerner received numerous honors while a student at Indiana State, including earning the Peter Hudson Memorial Scholarship, the Anita Benedetti Student Involvement Award and Spencer Education Foundation Scholar (2005-06) recognition. She also was named to the ISU Dean's List, was named a PRIMA Scholar twice and served as keynote speaker for the Woodrow Wilson Middle School Academic Banquet.

While at ISU, Zuerner served as an intern for Lockton Companies, Inc. (Summer 2005) and was a supplemental instructor and pre-business tutor for Indiana State's Student Academic Services Center. She also was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Alpha Lambda Delta, Gamma Iota Sigma, Toastmasters International and the Insurance and Risk Management Honors Corps (3.6 GPA or above).
