Diversity in Business Symposium 2022: About Tiana Baker
The Scott College of Business (SCOB) will welcome Indiana State University (ISU) alumna Tiana Baker back to campus on April 18th as part of the Diversity in Business Symposium. She is currently the Global eCommerce Worldwide Account Manager for FedEx Corporation and will serve as the keynote speaker for this student focused professional development event. The symposium is scheduled for 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Smith Magna Carta Room, Federal Hall 223.
Baker will discuss her career development in business with students, including both impactful successes and failures. She is an accomplished sales and marketing professional who has been recognized for outstanding performance and leadership throughout her career. Recently, she received the FedEx Five Star Award, which is the highest individual honor from the FedEx Corporation.
Baker is an active member of Southfield Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and enjoys volunteering and helping others succeed. Her proudest accomplishment is being one of the supporting founders of the Sycamore Alumni Legacy of Change Endowment at ISU, which provides scholarships to deserving black or African-American descent students in pursuit of higher education. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in marketing from ISU and her master’s in business administration degree from Wayne State University.
The Diversity in Business Symposium is a forum focused on bringing together a diverse group of professionals to share their professional experiences in supporting a more inclusive work environment with students.
