Alan C. Rankin Distinguished Senior Award

Alan C. RankinThe Alan C. Rankin Distinguished Senior Award recognizes outstanding men and women of the senior class who have contributed to the betterment of Indiana State University. Award recipients demonstrate dedicated leadership on campus and in community organizations. They show the desire and commitment to improving ISU and continue to live up to the ideals and values of Indiana State University. Indiana State students with a 3.25 grade point average and more than 94 credit hours are eligible for the Alan C. Rankin Distinguished Senior Award.

Alan Carson Rankin was Indiana State University's seventh president, starting on July 1, 1965, Rankin served as president until 1975. Until his retirement in 1980, Rankin served as special assistant to the president, Richard Landini, raising funds for special projects.

2017

At the 2017 Junior and Senior Awards ceremony, three of the four Rankin Award winners were students of the Scott College of Business. These were Kelsey Darin (Marketing), Trent Lunsford (Finance with a Financial Analysis and Investment Management concentration), and Kyle Varble (Operations and Supply Chain Management). Two of the four Landini Outstanding Juniors were from the college, these were Allison Crick, (Accounting and Marketing) and James "Jak" Kramer (Insurance and Risk Management).
