Katelyn Nuthak is a Presidents Scholar, a member of the Networks Professional Development Program, and a marketing major. She is an intern at Label.M, a professional haircare company based in London, England was recently invited to spend some time with them for London Mainstage Week, the the biggest event in their industry. We are all so excited for her. Katelyn writes:
This past week (October 13-18) I went to London, England to attend Toni&Guy label.M Mainstage, the London hair show, distributor meetings, and marketing meetings on behalf of label.M-USA. I was very fortunate to meet with the owner, president, and vice president of Toni&Guy label.M as well. Label.M is a professional hair care company based out of London with locations worldwide. I am currently the intern for label.M-USA and was sent to London to partake in the meetings and bring back the notes to my boss, head of marketing and PR, Sydney Knight. This was one of the most incredible experience I have ever had! I was able to learn specifics about the industry while allowing my opportunities to network and challenge myself grow. I will be assisting with label.M-USA's social media and marketing and promoting the new products that will be released during the holidays.
The scholars that participate in the Networks Professional Development Program come away with a four-year experience that sets them apart from most college students.
