State Farm

State Farm logoFor more than 25 years, State Farm has enjoyed a strong relationship with ISU and the Scott College of Business, which has led to success for both our business students and the company. To State Farm, an investment in the Scott College and its students and programs is an investment in the future of the insurance industry and the communities in which we live.

As a result of State Farm’s philanthropic support, the Scott College of Business has received past and present scholarship support for its insurance and risk management, sales and marketing and management information system programs. State Farm has also provided funding for student development, summer internships, technology needs, student organizations, executives in residence, the Leader In Action program and the State Farm Circle of Influence Speakers Series. In the past, the company has also provided dollars for MIS high school competitions. In addition, State Farm has committed resources to form the Scott College of Business’ Career Experience Center, which later became the Center for Student Professional Development and today is known as the Meis Student Development Center. State Farm also assisted in the development of the financial trading room, which is part of the Minas Center for Investment and Financial Education in the Scott College.
