Patrons: Jeffrey S. Harper

The Dr. Jeffrey S. Harper MBA Library (FD117) provides graduate students in the Scott College of Business their own facility for research, scholarly study and fellowship. It is named in honor of Jeff Harper, a Professor of Management Information Systems and education in graduate education. A recipient of the Scott College’s faculty awards for Excellence in Teaching (2003) and Exemplary Professional and Community Service (2008), Professor Harper has been an advocate for advanced management education throughout his distinguished career. Since joining Indiana State in 1998, hundreds of tomorrow’s business executives and academicians have studied under his tutelage.

Whether offering curriculum advising, research guidance, thought leadership, or career mentoring, Dr. Harper has always been dedicated to and involved in the success of Scott graduate students. He led the establishment of the MBA Library in 2009 while serving as Associate Dean for Graduate Education and MBA Director, donating books from his own collection. Since then, Indiana State University faculty, graduating MBA students and alumni have donated books to the library. This library is a valuable resource for the MBA program and will serve generations of graduate students to follow.
