Donor Profile

The Neihart Business Education Scholarship was established in 1991 by Bill and Connie Neihart, both graduates of Indiana State University with majors in business education. During their college years, each served as president of Pi Omega Pi. Mr. Neihart received the B.S. degree in 1956 and the M.S. degree in 1958. He was employed at the University for 32 years, serving as controller for 26 years prior to his retirement in 1992. Mrs. Neihart received the B.S. degree in 1974, having started in the Secretarial Work-Scholarship Program the year it was organized. She was employed at the University for 23 years which included 11 years as assistant director of Hulman Center. Mr. Neihart died in April 2005.
