Longfield Scholarship

Criteria

Eligible student will be: Junior or Senior, Accounting major with high overall scholastic achievement and excellent performance in accounting courses. Preference given to an adult learner who is active in student organizations concerned with accounting or business along with financial need considerations.

Donor Profile

The Longfield Scholarship was established by friends of the Accounting Department to honor professor of business, Henry W. Longfield. He joined the Indiana State faculty in 1969 and retired in 1992. In 1974 he became chairperson of the Department of Accounting. Dr. Longfield passed away on May 18, 2007 in Terre Haute.
